Manali mein barf aur adventure — bahut acha experience mila
Solang Valley mein snow activities aur phir Hadimba Temple mein darshan — dono ekdum alag experiences the. Guide ne sab kuch arrange kiya tha — snow suits, equipment aur timing. Rohtang Pass pe traffic tha lekin view itna acha tha ki sab kuch worth it tha.
Response from Globalduniya
Neeraj aur Seema, Solang Valley adventures aur Hadimba Temple ki serenity — Manali yahi do faces ek sath dikhata hai. Rohtang ka traffic sometimes hota hai par view sach mein worth it hai. Shukriya!

Shimla ki Mall Road aur Manali ki Solang Valley — dono ka alag hi charm
Shimla ki colonial architecture aur Mall Road ka walk karna, phir Manali mein Solang Valley mein snow activities — yeh two in one trip bahut value for money thi. Driver bahut experienced tha aur pahaadi raste ke baare mein poori information deta tha.
Response from Globalduniya
Rohan aur Kavya, Shimla ki colonial charm aur Manali ki Solang Valley ka combination — yahi toh Himachal ka best itinerary hai! Driver ki local knowledge pahaadi raste mein bahut helpful hoti hai. Shukriya!

Shimla Manali Classic — newly married couple ke liye perfect trip
Honeymoon nahi tha par naye shadi ke baad pehli trip Shimla-Manali ki. Mall Road pe haath pakad ke ghoomna aur Manali mein barf mein khichna — dono moments romantic the. Guide ne kuch jagah chhodi hamare liye bina kisi plan ke, jo appreciate kiya humne.
Response from Globalduniya
Preeti aur Mohit, naye rishte ki pehli trip — bahut special! Guide ka un moments mein step back lena jab aap dono ki zaroorat ho — yahi thoughtful service hai. Shukriya aur bahut mubarak ho!

Shimla's colonial charm — a very different India
After the sensory intensity of Delhi and Agra, Shimla felt like a completely different country — the Victorian architecture, the crisp mountain air, the quiet of the Jakhu Hill walk. The toy train from Kalka was charming. Manali's Rohtang Pass was dramatic in a completely different way.
Response from Globalduniya
The contrast between the plains and the mountain calm of Shimla is always striking for guests coming from Delhi. The Kalka-Shimla toy train is one of those journeys that is as enjoyable as any destination. Thank you, Linda and Charles.

Shimla toy train was worth the journey in itself
The narrow gauge toy train from Kalka to Shimla — 103 tunnels, 864 bridges, mountain scenery at walking pace — is one of those journeys that could justify a trip to India by itself. We arrived in Shimla in the late afternoon with the mountains golden and the town quiet. Magical.
Response from Globalduniya
The Kalka-Shimla toy train statistics are staggering and the experience even more so. Arriving in Shimla in that late afternoon golden light via the toy train is one of Himachal's great moments. Thank you, Helen and Martin.

Solang Valley snow activities exceeded expectations
We visited in January for the snow and Solang Valley delivered completely. Snow tubing, sledging and the backdrop of the Kullu Valley peaks in fresh powder — our guide had arranged the snow suits in advance which saved a lot of time on the day. Manali town and Old Manali were both charming.
Response from Globalduniya
January Solang Valley in fresh powder is genuinely one of Himachal's best seasonal experiences. Pre-arranged snow suits saved time and kept the energy up — glad that worked well. Thank you, Emma and Tom.
About India
▾
Region: Himachal Pradesh, India.
Best time to visit: March, April, May, June, October, December.
March to June for the classic Shimla-Manali spring. October to February for snow, but Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley may be closed in deep winter.
Questions about this package
No. Rohtang Pass (3,978m) is open approximately May to November and closes under heavy snow the rest of the year. Even in the open season, an environmental permit (₹600, we arrange) and early morning departure are required. We always confirm pass status 24 hours before your scheduled visit.
Yes, seasonally. Shimla and Manali both receive snowfall December to February, with Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass snow-accessible. March and April see snow at higher elevations. May to September is green season — lush Parvati Valley and Beas River views but no snow. We advise on expected conditions at the time of booking.
The UNESCO World Heritage Kalka–Shimla heritage railway can be included as an optional upgrade (5 hours, stunning mountain views). The standard itinerary uses road transfer (3.5 hours by car). Many guests combine: train up to Shimla, road back to Chandigarh for the Manali leg.
