Once you have checked in and refreshed yourself, spend the afternoon at leisure. Take in the spellbinding views from your sea-facing suite, stroll along the lush gardens, or simply soak in the resort's tranquil pool. As the sun sets, prepare for an elegant evening in the resort's ambient multi-cuisine restaurant, Latitude, where the finest Goan, Indian, and international dishes are crafted to perfection. Toast to the start of your Goa journey with a signature cocktail or mocktail of your choice, as the cool coastal breeze accompanies your dining experience. Relax and unwind for the night at your luxurious abode, preparing for the adventures that lie ahead. Highlights: - Private transfer from the airport in style - Stay at the luxurious Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa - Evening dinner at Latitude within the resort

Begin your day with a lavish breakfast at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, featuring a selection of Indian and continental dishes crafted to perfection. Post breakfast, embark on a fascinating exploration of Goa's historical gems with a private guide. Your first stop is Panaji, the state capital brimming with colonial charm. Visit the colorful Fontainhas neighborhood, a UNESCO-recognized Latin Quarter, where Portuguese-style homes and winding streets tell tales of a bygone era. Next, travel to Old Goa, 20 minutes from Panaji, where you'll explore the awe-inspiring Basilica of Bom Jesus, housing the sacred relics of St. Francis Xavier, and the majestic Se Cathedral. After immersing yourself in Goa's rich heritage, enjoy a delectable lunch at Mum's Kitchen, a celebrated restaurant serving authentic Goan specialties. In the afternoon, return to the Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa for leisurely relaxation by the infinity pool or go for a rejuvenating spa session. End your day with a quiet evening and the comfort of your luxury resort. Highlights: - Fontainhas neighborhood in Panaji - Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral in Old Goa - Lunch at Mum's Kitchen

After another delightful breakfast at the Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, set out to explore North Goa's vibrant beachside culture. Begin your morning with a visit to the famous Anjuna Beach, known for its natural rock formations and lively atmosphere. Continue to the nearby Anjuna Flea Market, a treasure trove of unique souvenirs, handicrafts, and vibrant textiles. Next, head to Calangute Beach, a bustling spot perfect for enjoying the golden sands and an array of watersports. For lunch, dine at Souzo Lobo, a beachfront restaurant revered for its fresh seafood and classic Goan dishes. In the late afternoon, proceed to Fort Chapora, an iconic location offering spectacular views of Vagator Beach and a picturesque sunset. As the day draws to a close, return to the Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa to relax and relish the luxurious ambiance of the resort. Highlights: - Anjuna Beach and Flea Market - Calangute Beach - Sunset at Fort Chapora

On your final morning in Goa, wake up to the gentle sea breeze and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, one of Goa's most iconic luxury retreats. Indulge in a range of gourmet options at the hotel's all-day dining restaurant, Latitude, where the freshest local ingredients come together in dishes that celebrate the flavors of Goa. Savor this last meal while gazing out at the panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, a fitting farewell to your coastal escape. After breakfast, take a few moments to stroll through the resort's lush gardens or relax on the private terrace, soaking in the serene ambiance one last time. Once you've checked out, your dedicated chauffeur will be ready to escort you in a luxury vehicle to Goa International Airport (Dabolim Airport, GOI), located approximately 50 minutes away. Along the way, catch glimpses of Goa's vibrant culture, from colorful Portuguese-inspired architecture to bustling local markets, a nod to the state's rich heritage and charm. As you arrive at the airport, reflect on the unforgettable moments of your journey-sun-drenched beaches, exquisite dining experiences, and the warmth of Goan hospitality. Depart with a treasure trove of memories and the anticipation of returning to this paradise for another luxurious getaway.

The road west from Agra carries you out of the Mughal world and into Rajasthan. The landscape shifts — drier, more ochre, more open. Your guide brings context to the journey: the history of the Rajput kingdoms, the politics of Jaipur's founding, the geography of the Aravalli range. Arrive in Jaipur by late afternoon. Evening walk through the Johari Bazaar, where jewellery merchants have traded since the 18th century. Dinner in the Pink City.

Amber Fort at 8am, before the coaches arrive, reveals itself properly: the steep ramparts, the mirrored Sheesh Mahal, the views across the Maota Lake. Your guide moves you through at a thoughtful pace, explaining the political marriage alliances that shaped this fort's history. Afternoon: the City Palace (still home to the royal family), Jantar Mantar, and the Hawa Mahal from the street. A block-printing or blue pottery workshop visit can be arranged. Dinner at a heritage property in Jaipur.

The two-hour drive southeast brings you into the dry deciduous forests of Ranthambore. Check in to your jungle lodge. Evening game drive in a private jeep — your naturalist guide reads the forest: pugmarks, alarm calls, the behaviour of sambar and chital. Ranthambore is one of India's finest tiger reserves, with a UNESCO-listed fort rising from the forest above the lake. Dinner at the lodge under the stars.

Dawn is the best time. Your jeep enters the forest before first light. The stillness, the mist, the possibility — Ranthambore rewards patience and silence. After breakfast, a visit to Ranthambore Fort: a 10th-century Rajput structure that overlooks three lakes, ancient temples, and forest stretching to the horizon. Afternoon rest. Optional late afternoon game drive. Dinner and debrief with your naturalist.

The drive from Ranthambore south to Udaipur (around four hours) winds through the Aravalli Hills. The approach to Udaipur — the lake glinting below, the City Palace rising above it — is one of India's finest arrivals. Check in to your lake-view property. Evening boat ride on Lake Pichola: the Lake Palace hotel, the Jag Mandir island, the city lights reflected in the water. Dinner on the lake or at a rooftop overlooking it.

Udaipur deserves at least two days. This morning: the City Palace — the largest palace complex in Rajasthan — with your private guide providing context on the Mewar royal dynasty, their resistance against the Mughals, and their extraordinary art collection. Afternoon: Saheliyon ki Bari (the Garden of the Maids of Honour), the Bagore ki Haveli Museum, and the old city bazaar lanes. Evening: Bagore ki Haveli folk performance — puppetry, Ghoomar dance, and Rajasthani folk music. Dinner at leisure.

Morning flight from Udaipur to Varanasi (typically via Delhi). Your driver meets you at Varanasi's Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport and drives you to your heritage property near the Ganges. The afternoon is free — but the evening is essential: Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Seven priests, fire, incense, conch, and ritual conducted at the river's edge at dusk. Your guide explains the cosmology, the ritual significance, and the hundreds of pilgrims gathered at the bank.

The Ganges at dawn is the spiritual centre of Varanasi. Your private boat moves slowly along the ghats as the city awakens — sadhus at prayer, laundry being beaten on stone, funeral pyres at Manikarnika, the first light touching the water. Your guide reads the scene without imposing. Late morning: the lanes of the old city — the Kashi Vishwanath temple complex, the silk weavers' quarters, the Bengali Tola. Afternoon rest. Evening sitar or classical music recital arranged at a heritage property on the ghats.

Sarnath is 13 km from Varanasi and one of the most important Buddhist sites on earth: the Dhamek Stupa marks the spot where the Buddha gave his first teaching after enlightenment. The Sarnath Museum holds the Lion Capital of Ashoka — India's national emblem — and the finest collection of Gupta-period Buddhist sculpture anywhere. Afternoon in Varanasi at leisure. Optional cooking class or Ayurvedic treatment. Final evening in the city.

A final dawn boat on the Ganges if time allows. Breakfast at the hotel. Private vehicle to Varanasi Airport for your onward flight. Your concierge assists with check-in if needed. A calm, unhurried departure — the last note of a journey designed from beginning to end with your comfort and experience in mind.

For guests extending to Khajuraho, Kerala, or another destination, this day continues the journey. Your itinerary team will have prepared the bespoke extension at the time of booking. Please discuss your preferred extension with your travel specialist.

Final day of extension or alternative departure day for guests with later flights. All ground logistics handled. Your concierge ensures a smooth final transfer.

Practical tips from your guide

  • 💡South Goa (Palolem, Agonda) is quieter and cleaner than North Goa (Baga, Calangute) — choose based on your preference
  • 💡Renting a scooter (₹300/day) is the best way to explore — but carry your licence as spot-checks are frequent
  • 💡Fontainhas (Latin Quarter) in Panjim is Goa's most photogenic neighbourhood — early morning for the best light
  • 💡Saturday Night Market in Arpora is more authentic than the Anjuna Flea Market — local crafts, live music, real food
  • 💡Dudhsagar Falls is best July–October when the volume is highest; accessible by jeep safari from Mollem
