โSix AM jeep safari in Ranthambore and a tigress and two cubs walked thirty metres in front of us. Nothing can prepare you for that. SUJรN Sher Bagh was an extraordinary camp โ candlelit dinners under the stars, wildlife walks at dawn. The Golden Triangle history combined beautifully with the wildlife finale.โ

โStarting with Delhi's Mughal monuments and ending with a wild tiger sighting in Ranthambore felt like a proper India education. My guide in Agra was superb and the SUJรN Sher Bagh staff went above and beyond. The jeep was well-positioned โ we found tracks quickly both mornings.โ

โWe came primarily for the photography. Our guide understood this and positioned the jeep for the best light both mornings. A female tiger resting near the lake at golden hour on day two was the shot of our trip. Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra was everything.โ

โWe nearly booked just the Golden Triangle. Adding Ranthambore was the best last-minute decision we made. SUJรN Sher Bagh is worth the trip alone โ the design is beautiful and the canvas under-canvas experience at night felt like a different world from the city hotels.โ

โIndia felt overwhelming before we booked but Globalduniya made it feel like a private adventure. The highlight reel: Taj at sunrise, a textile merchant in Jaipur's old city who gave us a cup of chai, and a tiger at thirty metres in Zone Three of Ranthambore. Rambagh Palace was magnificent.โ

โI was travelling solo and a little apprehensive. Sunita, my guide throughout, was not just knowledgeable but a genuinely wonderful companion. She negotiated every crossing and crowd without fuss. Ranthambore was incredible โ our jeep saw a tiger on both drives. Globalduniya exceeded every expectation.โ

โWe expected the palaces to be the highlight but the camel ride into the Thar Desert at dusk, with the Suryagarh staff setting up chai and snacks on the dunes, was unexpectedly moving. The desert light is extraordinary. Suryagarh itself is a beautifully designed property.โ

โWe knew Jaipur and Udaipur would be stunning but Jodhpur's old city surprised us most. Walking the narrow lanes below Mehrangarh Fort with our guide, the indigo-painted walls at every turn, the spice sellers and the sound of temple bells โ it felt completely authentic. RAAS Jodhpur has perfect fort views.โ

โWe spent weeks planning an India trip independently before finding Globalduniya and handing it over. Every hotel was better than we would have found ourselves, the guide pacing was perfect and the Jaisalmer fort walk at dawn, before the day-trippers arrived, was a privilege.โ

โControversial opinion but Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur is more impressive than the Taj. The sheer scale, the carved jali windows, the view over the blue city from the bastions. Our guide Arjun spent three hours there and we could have stayed all day. Hotel Nachana Haveli was a perfect boutique base.โ

โWe are in our sixties and this was the big trip we promised ourselves. Every detail Globalduniya organised was exactly right โ the hotels were extraordinary, the guide was a genuine expert, and the Rajasthan landscape is unlike anything else on earth. The camel cart through Jaisalmer's old city was a delight.โ

โNobody warned us how quiet the Kerala backwaters are at night. No traffic, no city sounds, just frogs, birds and the occasional splash of fish. Our Kettuvallam luxury houseboat was beautifully equipped and the cook prepared a fresh Kerala fish curry that evening that was genuinely one of the best meals of the trip.โ

โThree very different Kerala environments in one itinerary. Kochi was fascinating โ the Chinese fishing nets at dawn, the Jewish quarter, the spice warehouses. Munnar in the morning mist was serene. And the backwater houseboat at sunset was the finale we had hoped for. CGH Earth Brunton Boatyard in Kochi was superb.โ

โKerala is the right destination if what you need is genuine rest. The pace is gentle, the food is extraordinary and the landscape is extraordinarily green after north India. Our houseboat captain was a brilliant host and the Thekkady wildlife drive added a lovely layer to the nature theme.โ

โMunnar ke tea gardens mein subah ki sair aur Alleppey backwaters mein houseboar par raat โ dono hi experiences ekdum alag aur beautiful thay. Hamara guide bahut helpful tha aur food to ekdum mast tha. Kerala ki simplicity aur greenery hamare dil mein bas gayi.โ

โWe added the Thekkady wildlife day almost as an afterthought but it became one of the highlights. Watching elephants at close range in a genuine forest setting, with a naturalist guide explaining the herd dynamics, was extraordinary. The Premium Houseboat on Alleppey that evening was a perfect finale.โ

โThe Brunton Boatyard's location in Fort Kochi made exploring on foot completely effortless. We walked to the Chinese fishing nets at five-thirty in the morning and had them almost to ourselves. Our guide's explanation of Kochi's trading history โ Portuguese, Dutch, British โ was fascinating.โ

โWe are normally fast-movers who try to cover maximum ground. Kerala taught us to slow down and it was the best lesson of any holiday. Drifting along the backwaters with nothing to do but watch the canals and the toddy palms was deeply restorative. The houseboat cook was genuinely talented.โ

โThree nights at Ananda were enough to genuinely reset. The yoga teacher adjusted practice to our level without making us feel like beginners, the Ayurveda treatments were deeply effective and the Himalayan air is extraordinary. We tacked on Varanasi at the end and the spiritual thread ran beautifully through both.โ

โPehli baar Europe gaye the aur thoda nervous tha. Par Globalduniya ne itna sab handle kiya โ Schengen visa guidance, train connections, hotel choices aur city guides โ ki hum stress-free travel kar sake. Paris mein Eiffel Tower pe dinner โ ek lifetime memory ban gayi.โ
