Mughal history in Agra and living wildness in Ranthambore — the contrast was striking and deliberate. Our guide spent two days with us in both phases which created real continuity. He even remembered we preferred the tea served with less sugar — small things, big difference.

India felt overwhelming before we booked but Globalduniya made it feel like a private adventure. The highlight reel: Taj at sunrise, a textile merchant in Jaipur's old city who gave us a cup of chai, and a tiger at thirty metres in Zone Three of Ranthambore. Rambagh Palace was magnificent.

We expected the palaces to be the highlight but the camel ride into the Thar Desert at dusk, with the Suryagarh staff setting up chai and snacks on the dunes, was unexpectedly moving. The desert light is extraordinary. Suryagarh itself is a beautifully designed property.

We knew Jaipur and Udaipur would be stunning but Jodhpur's old city surprised us most. Walking the narrow lanes below Mehrangarh Fort with our guide, the indigo-painted walls at every turn, the spice sellers and the sound of temple bells — it felt completely authentic. RAAS Jodhpur has perfect fort views.

We spent weeks planning an India trip independently before finding Globalduniya and handing it over. Every hotel was better than we would have found ourselves, the guide pacing was perfect and the Jaisalmer fort walk at dawn, before the day-trippers arrived, was a privilege.

Controversial opinion but Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur is more impressive than the Taj. The sheer scale, the carved jali windows, the view over the blue city from the bastions. Our guide Arjun spent three hours there and we could have stayed all day. Hotel Nachana Haveli was a perfect boutique base.

Staying within the Jaisalmer fort walls is something we had always wanted to do. Our guide arranged access to the private sections of the fort at dusk, before the tourists left, and it was extraordinary — the golden sandstone glowing in the last light. Suryagarh outside the walls was wonderful too.

Not rushed, not too long. Each city got enough days to absorb it properly. Jaipur needed two full days to do justice to the City Palace and Amber Fort. Udaipur could honestly be extended by two more. The Leela Palace Udaipur was our favourite hotel of the entire trip.

Nobody warned us how quiet the Kerala backwaters are at night. No traffic, no city sounds, just frogs, birds and the occasional splash of fish. Our Kettuvallam luxury houseboat was beautifully equipped and the cook prepared a fresh Kerala fish curry that evening that was genuinely one of the best meals of the trip.

I came to Kerala sceptical about Ayurveda and left a convert. The consultation at Fragrant Nature Munnar was thorough and personalised — they modified my entire treatment plan based on my constitution. The Munnar tea estates surrounding the property made morning walks extraordinary.

Alleppey ke backwaters mein houseboat pe raat guzaari. Sone se pehle jo silence tha aur suba jo chirping the — woh moments hamesha yaad rahenge. Kerala ki greenery aur clean environment bahut refreshing tha. Khana bhi pure Kerala style tha, jo bahut tasty tha.

Solang Valley mein snow activities aur phir Hadimba Temple mein darshan — dono ekdum alag experiences the. Guide ne sab kuch arrange kiya tha — snow suits, equipment aur timing. Rohtang Pass pe traffic tha lekin view itna acha tha ki sab kuch worth it tha.

Landed at Delhi not knowing what to expect and left wanting to come back immediately. The guide in Delhi was superb, the ITC Mughal in Agra was gorgeous, and Jaipur's Amber Fort exceeded every photo I had seen. Globalduniya's coordination was flawless.

Delhi's Humayun's Tomb, Agra's Taj, Jaipur's Amber Fort — each was extraordinary in its own way. Our guide Ravi was encyclopaedic on Mughal history and made every site feel personal. Rambagh Palace in Jaipur was an absolute treat. Only wish we had had one more night there.

We did not expect our guide to become someone we would stay in touch with. Arjun walked us through Old Delhi's lanes with complete ease and the Agra fort commentary was brilliant — much richer than any audio guide. The Sarovar Premier Jaipur was solid and central.

Having done India with another operator ten years ago, we decided to give Globalduniya a try this time. The difference was marked — more thoughtful itinerary pacing, better hotel choices and a guide who actually listened to what we wanted to see. The Oberoi Amarvilas upgrade was a lovely surprise.

Added three days at the front and back of a Delhi conference to do the Golden Triangle. Best thing I have ever done with airport stopover time. Guide was with me within thirty minutes of landing. Jaipur's Nahargarh Fort at sunset was the surprise standout.

We had wanted to see the Taj Mahal for thirty years. Globalduniya made sure it lived up to every expectation and more. Our guide Deepak was patient, warm and knew every corner of every monument. Rambagh Palace in Jaipur gave us our maharaja moment. A perfect ten days.

This itinerary has everything. The Taj sunrise was extraordinary but then two days later watching a male tiger mark his territory at Ranthambore trumped even that. Our naturalist guide explained the behaviour in real time. Sarovar Premier Jaipur was a comfortable base.

I booked my first proper solo trip at sixty-two and Kerala felt safe, manageable and deeply enriching. My guide Sunita was excellent company on the Thekkady forest trail. The Ayurveda massage at the Brunton Boatyard was exceptional — I slept better than I have in years.
