We have done North India's Mughal heritage multiple times. South India's Dravidian temple culture is entirely different and equally extraordinary. Madurai's Meenakshi Amman Temple — the scale of the gopurams (towers) covered in thousands of painted figures — is unlike anything we have seen in decades of travelling. Our guide Muthu's explanation of the temple's cosmology and daily worship rhythm made it genuinely comprehensible. Kerala's backwaters provided the perfect counterpoint — gentle, quiet, green. The 12-night itinerary was long enough to do both regions justice. Excellent planning by Globalduniya.

India had been on our bucket list for years but we kept delaying because of the children — now 8 and 11. This easy-pace family itinerary was the answer. The sites were chosen for their child engagement value as much as their heritage significance. The Taj Mahal's story (a love story the children could understand), the Amber Fort's elephant-mounted royal processional history, the bazaar treasure hunt in Jaipur — all landed perfectly. Our guide Suresh was brilliant with the children. He made every historical explanation accessible and fun without dumbing it down. India is absolutely a family destination with the right planning.

As a person of Indian origin who has never been to the Himalayan foothills, this journey felt like a homecoming. Haridwar's ghats at dusk, Rishikesh's Lakshman Jhula at sunrise, Mussoorie's ridge walk with Himalayan views — each was more beautiful than the last. Our guide Prashant was deeply knowledgeable about Vaishnav and Shaivite traditions and answered every question with scholarship and warmth. A journey I will recommend to every Indian in the diaspora who wants to reconnect with the subcontinent's spiritual geography.

We visited Toronto and Niagara on a five-day extension to a business trip. Globalduniya Canada arranged everything within 48 hours of our enquiry — hotel, guide, Niagara transport and Maid of the Mist tickets. The organisation was impressive given the short notice. Our guide was excellent — knowledgeable, punctual and adaptable to our schedule which changed slightly on day two. Niagara Falls is as extraordinary as its reputation suggests. Toronto's restaurant scene is world-class. A very successful short Canada introduction.

We chose Canada over the United States for our first North America trip because of the warmth of welcome we had heard about. Toronto did not disappoint — the CN Tower sunset view over Lake Ontario, the Distillery District's Victorian industrial architecture converted to galleries and restaurants, and the St Lawrence Market on a Saturday morning were all excellent. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about Toronto's history and very accommodating of our interest in architecture. Niagara Falls exceeded every expectation. The sheer volume of water in motion is staggering.

We moved to Canada from Brazil three years ago and had not yet visited Toronto. Globalduniya designed this short introduction perfectly. Toronto's Royal Ontario Museum is world-class — the crystal extension by Daniel Libeskind is extraordinary architecture and the collection is exceptional. The Art Gallery of Ontario's Henry Moore room alone is worth the visit. Niagara from above (Skylon Tower) and from the water (Maid of the Mist) gives you the full picture of the falls. The illumination at night — which our guide specifically recommended we stay for — was spectacular.

Toronto is one of the world's most genuinely multicultural cities and five days is enough to experience its different neighbourhoods — Chinatown, Kensington Market, the Distillery District, Yorkville. Niagara Falls is an easy 90-minute drive and the falls from the Canadian side are far more dramatic than from the American side — the Horseshoe Falls gives you the full breadth of the flow. The Niagara wine region lunch at a vineyard was a wonderful addition our guide suggested on day one — Ontario's ice wine is exceptional. Very well organised by Globalduniya.

Every friend with children warned us against India. Globalduniya's family itinerary addresses precisely the concerns those friends raised: the pacing, the hygiene, the accommodation quality, the guide's ability to keep children interested. Our boys (7 and 10) were fascinated by the Amber Fort's hidden tunnels, the Qutb Minar's height, and the camel ride at Pushkar. The hotels all had pools for afternoon recovery, the food was introduced gradually (mild curries, dal, naan — nothing intimidating), and the family guide Meena was patient, warm and endlessly entertaining for the children.

We arrived at Munnar at sunrise through rolling mist — the tea bushes bright green against the cloud and the smell of tea processing from the Tata estate filling the cool air. This is one of the world's great landscapes for tea country and Globalduniya timed our arrival perfectly. The estate tour with the factory visit showed the full journey from bush to cup. Fort Kochi's Dutch and Portuguese heritage is unexpectedly rich for a coastal Indian town. The backwaters overnight was peaceful and the food was exceptional throughout Kerala. I will recommend this itinerary to everyone.

We researched Rajasthan extensively before booking. Globalduniya's desert and palaces itinerary covered more ground than I thought possible in eleven days — Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur — without feeling rushed because the driving distances are manageable and the guides made every road journey interesting. The Pushkar camel fair (we timed our visit specifically) was an extraordinary spectacle. Jodhpur's Mehrangarh Fort is the greatest fort in India in our view — nothing else comes close for scale, preservation and drama of setting. The view over the blue city from the cannon bastion is one of India's great panoramas.

Jodhpur's blue streets, Jaisalmer's golden sandstone, Udaipur's white marble on a blue lake, Jaipur's pink terraces — Rajasthan's palette is extraordinary and deliberately chosen. Our guide explained that the blue of Jodhpur's Brahmin quarter was originally a natural insect repellent and the colour became a status marker over centuries. That kind of contextual detail transformed our photographs into understanding. The desert camp was a revelation. The camel at sunset, the stars, the Rajasthani folk music — everything we hoped for India and rarely find so completely. Excellent itinerary.

Travelling with a mixed-age group that included my 68-year-old mother-in-law, my husband and our six-year-old daughter required careful organisation. Globalduniya designed the easy-pace itinerary specifically around our group. The driving was always in an appropriately large vehicle, lunch breaks were always at a restaurant with clean facilities and cooling, and activities were always given with optional escalation levels. Our six-year-old's favourite moment was feeding a elephant at the ethical sanctuary. My mother-in-law's was the Taj at dawn. Mine was seeing both of them happy.

The desert camp at Jaisalmer was the highlight of a trip full of highlights. We arrived at the sand dunes outside Jaisalmer by camel at sunset, watched the sky turn through orange to violet over the dunes, ate dinner around a campfire with traditional Rajasthani musicians, and slept in a well-furnished tent under a sky so bright with stars we could see our shadows. No electricity, no light pollution, complete silence except for the wind. Jaisalmer's golden sandstone fort — the only living fort in India, with families still residing within the walls — was extraordinary. Our guide's explanation of the Jain merchants' haveli architecture inside the fort added depth we would have missed entirely.

The Chinese fishing nets on Fort Kochi's waterfront — the cantilevered bamboo structures introduced by Chinese traders in the 14th century — at dawn when the fishermen are working and mist lies on the water, is a scene of extraordinary beauty. Our guide arranged early morning access to the net operator and we were able to help pull the ropes. The backwaters overnight was perfect — breakfast of appam and stew on the deck with egrets wading in the shallows. The Ayurveda session at our beach resort in Varkala was a wonderful final element. Kerala is a masterpiece of a state.

We chose Toronto and Niagara as an introduction to Canada and it worked perfectly. The Maid of the Mist boat into the base of the Horseshoe Falls — spray, sound, scale — is an experience that photographs simply cannot prepare you for. The poncho is soaked within seconds. Our guide James timed the visit to arrive at the boat just as the crowds from earlier tours were leaving. Toronto's CN Tower and the waterfront Distillery District were excellent urban additions. The five days were perfectly paced and the organisation throughout was seamless.

As Indians living in London who have visited India regularly since childhood, we were curious whether a luxury palace itinerary with a specialist operator would show us anything new. Globalduniya showed us an India we had not seen. Access to a private polo match at Jodhpur's grounds, a curator's private tour of the Mehrangarh Fort's textile collection, and a royal family tea at Samode — none of these are experiences available independently. The palace hotels themselves were extraordinary even by our standards. A wonderful and genuinely revelatory India journey.

We have taken luxury tours with various operators over thirty years. This India palace circuit with Globalduniya was, without question, the best organised and most consistently excellent we have experienced. Every hotel had been pre-briefed on our preferences. Every guide had been briefed on our itinerary and interests. Every dinner reservation was at the right table at the right time. The attention to detail extended to the private Jodhpur sunrise drive to the blue city viewpoint above the old town — the blue-painted houses extending to the base of Mehrangarh Fort in the early light is one of India's most beautiful urban views.

I chose Kerala as a solo destination specifically because Globalduniya's team described it as one of India's safest and most welcoming regions for solo women travellers. They were absolutely right. I felt completely comfortable in every setting — Kochi's Fort area, the houseboat, the Ayurvedic retreat, Varkala's cliff beach. The guides were professional and respectful. The houseboat cook prepared fresh seafood caught that morning for every meal. The prawn curry with coconut milk on the backwaters at sunset is a meal I will not forget.

We joined the small group departure (eight women from five countries) and the dynamic was extraordinarily positive from day one. Our guide Priya created a group atmosphere of curiosity and openness that meant every conversation — at dinner, on the bus, at sites — was interesting. The women in the group became friends. India itself was as extraordinary as we had hoped. Jaisalmer's desert camp under the stars, with eight women from around the world sharing stories around a campfire in the Thar Desert, was a memory I will carry for the rest of my life.

Most India itineraries present a history of kings, emperors and armies. Globalduniya's women's discovery itinerary presents a different version — the women who built Jaipur's textile industry, the women who maintained Rajput religious traditions, the women who trade at Pushkar's fairs. This alternative perspective is not just more interesting for a female traveller — it is genuinely richer historical understanding. My guide Sunita was exceptional — scholarly, warm, funny and deeply connected to the communities she introduced me to. An India trip unlike any other.
