The calmer North Goa beaches, the dolphin boat trip, the Dudhsagar falls jeep safari — all were age-appropriate and genuinely exciting. “We had no idea India had a waterfall of this scale. Dudhsagar means "sea of milk" and the foaming white water tumbling through the jungle-covered cliffs earns the name. Our guide arranged a jeep safari through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary to reach it. Extraordinary.”

“We had dismissed the spice plantation as a tourist trap and almost skipped it. Our guide convinced us to go and it was one of the best half-days. Walking through vanilla, cardamom and nutmeg plots, tasting toddy straight from the palm and eating a thali lunch in the plantation — all genuinely wonderful.”

“We have ticked off many iconic landmarks but the Taj at sunrise, with Deepak narrating the love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz, was on another level entirely. Our stay at Oberoi Amarvilas placed us just steps from the monument — waking to that view was surreal. The Golden Triangle route was perfectly paced.”
