Neil Island pe private beach — ekdum paradise feel
Neil Island pe ek beach milali jo literally koi nahi tha. Hum dono ek ghante ke liye uss beach pe the — crystal water, white sand, coconut trees. Yeh moment capture karna mushkil tha kyunki jo feel tha woh camera mein nahi aati. Guide ne yeh hidden spot bataya tha — special!
Response from Globalduniya
Tanuja aur Amit, guide ka woh hidden Neil Island beach — yahi toh local knowledge ka asli fayda hai! "Camera mein nahi aati" wali feeling — sach mein travel ki sabse precious cheez hoti hai yahi. Shukriya!

Baratang limestone caves — one of India's most unusual experiences
The boat journey through mangroves to Baratang's limestone caves and mud volcanoes is one of the most unusual experiences we have had anywhere in India. Our guide was a local who had grown up among the indigenous Jarawa people's territory and his knowledge of the mangrove ecology was fascinating.
Response from Globalduniya
James and Susan, the Baratang limestone caves via mangrove boat is genuinely one of India's most unusual experiences and the guide's ecology knowledge makes it so much more meaningful. Thank you for appreciating that depth.

Ross Island — haunting colonial history in an island setting
Ross Island's abandoned colonial buildings, overgrown by jungle over eighty years, feel like a real-life Miss Havisham experience. Our guide's knowledge of the penal colony history and the Japanese occupation during World War Two added remarkable depth. Combined with Havelock's beaches — a complete Andaman experience.
Response from Globalduniya
Ross Island's jungle-reclaimed colonial architecture is one of those genuinely haunting experiences. The WWII layer adds another historical dimension entirely. Peter and Christine, thank you for exploring the full Andaman story.

Andaman Island Explorer — the full picture of a remarkable archipelago
Five days exploring multiple islands gave us the feeling of having genuinely understood the Andamans rather than just sampled one beach. Port Blair's cellular jail in the morning, Baratang mangroves in the afternoon, Neil Island the next day — a perfectly paced full exploration.
Response from Globalduniya
Genuinely understood rather than just sampled — that is the entire philosophy behind the Andaman Island Explorer itinerary. Conor and Mary, thank you for engaging with it so fully.
About India
▾

October to May is the window for serious exploration. The northeast monsoon (October–December) can bring some rough ferry days — check forecast before remote island days.
Questions about this package
Barren Island is India's only active volcano, located 135 km north of Port Blair. The chartered boat trip takes 4 hours each way. You circle the island and observe the active lava plume from the boat — landing is not permitted. The excursion is limited to 20 visitors per day and requires Forest Department clearance, which we arrange. One of the rarest experiences in all of India.
Yes. The Baratang Island trip (limestone caves, mangrove creek speedboat, parrot island) is included and requires a police convoy permit. Our team arranges the permit and the convoy departure time is fixed at 6 am from Port Blair — we ensure you are on the convoy without fail.
Long Island is an optional 1-night extension — a remote island with one eco-resort, pristine beaches, and zero crowds. Accessible only by government ferry (4 hours). We recommend it for guests who want a completely off-grid experience at the end of the main circuit. Ask us for Long Island extension pricing.
