Practical tips from your guide
- 💡Sydney Harbour Bridge climb: do the dawn climb — sunrise over the Opera House from the bridge top is extraordinary
- 💡Great Barrier Reef: choose the full-day Outer Reef trip (30 km offshore) over the half-day inner reef — visibility is dramatically better
- 💡Uluru (Ayers Rock) sunrise walk: start 45 minutes before dawn — the colour sequence from purple to gold to orange to red is a 20-minute event
- 💡Melbourne's Queen Victoria Market (open Sat–Sun 8 am): best fresh produce market in Australia and very photogenic
- 💡ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) visa: apply at least 2 weeks before travel — Australian immigration is strict on visa timing

Yes. Indian citizens require an ETA (Australian Electronic Travel Authority, subclass 601) or a regular tourist visa (subclass 600). ETA costs AUD $20, is processed in 24 hours, and requires an eligible Australian-linked app. Regular tourist visa takes 15–25 working days. We advise on the appropriate visa type based on your passport history.
Yes, year-round. The climbing of Uluru was permanently closed in October 2019 out of respect for Anangu sacred sites — the Uluru Base Walk (10 km, 3.5 hours), sunrise and sunset viewing, and the Cultural Centre are all open daily. We time the Uluru visit to maximise both the sunset and sunrise colour sequences.
