Located in a private sanctuary, this boutique hotel is renowned for its historic charm and unique interactions with endangered Rothschild giraffes. Spend your evening soaking in the enchanting ambiance as these gentle giraffes wander up to the windows, eager for a friendly interaction. Prepare for a sumptuous gourmet dinner at the hotel's dining area, specially curated to offer the finest blend of international and local Kenyan flavors. It is the perfect way to ease into the magical safari adventure that awaits you. Highlights: - Private transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - Luxurious stay at Giraffe Manor with its resident giraffes - Exclusive gourmet dinner in a serene setting
Start your day with an enchanting breakfast at the iconic Giraffe Manor, where elegant Rothschild giraffes gently poke their heads through the windows, sharing a unique dining experience with you. After breakfast, you'll be chauffeured to the Karen Blixen Museum, nestled in the serene suburb of Karen. This historic residence, once home to the celebrated Danish author of *Out of Africa*, offers an intimate glimpse into colonial Kenya, featuring antiques, photographs, and lush gardens that inspired Blixen's timeless works. The museum's knowledgeable guides will enrich your visit with fascinating anecdotes about her life and legacy. Next, enjoy a private transfer to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants. Witness the heartwarming feeding sessions and learn about their conservation efforts, including the reintroduction of these gentle giants into the wild-a truly memorable experience. For lunch, indulge in a culinary journey at Talisman, an award-winning restaurant renowned for its farm-to-table philosophy and fusion of European, Pan-Asian, and African flavors. After savoring dishes such as crispy feta samosas or Swahili-spiced seafood, return to Giraffe Manor in your private vehicle. Spend the afternoon unwinding in the manor's elegant surroundings, perhaps with a cocktail on the terrace, before enjoying a peaceful evening at leisure in this extraordinary retreat.
Leave Nairobi after an early breakfast and take a short, scenic domestic flight to the heart of the legendary Masai Mara, Kenya's premier wildlife reserve. Upon landing at the Mara airstrip, you'll be warmly greeted by your private guide and transferred in a luxury safari vehicle to Angama Mara, your exclusive haven perched high above the Great Rift Valley. This award-winning lodge, inspired by the Swahili word for "suspended in mid-air," offers breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the endless savannah below, a setting so iconic it featured in the film *Out of Africa*. After a seamless check-in, refresh in your elegantly designed suite, complete with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and a private deck for unparalleled vistas. Savor a chef-curated lunch on the lodge's open-air terrace, where the sweeping plains stretch as far as the eye can see. Culinary highlights include locally sourced ingredients and modern African flavors, paired perfectly with fine wines. In the afternoon, set off on an exhilarating game drive in the Masai Mara Reserve, guided by expert trackers who will bring the landscape to life. Marvel at prides of lions basking in the sun, spot cheetahs gliding across the plains, and, if lucky, glimpse the elusive leopard lounging in an acacia tree. Return to Angama Mara as the sun sets, casting a golden glow over the savannah. Enjoy signature sunset cocktails on the deck, followed by a delectable multi-course dinner under the stars, where the sounds of the African wilderness create an unforgettable ambiance.
After a hearty breakfast at the luxurious Angama Mara, perched on the edge of the Great Rift Valley with sweeping views of the Masai Mara, embark on a full-day safari adventure through one of Africa's most iconic wildlife reserves. Your private 4x4 safari vehicle, expertly guided by a seasoned naturalist, will take you across the Masai Mara's breathtaking landscapes of golden savannahs, meandering rivers, and acacia-dotted plains. The day's mission: to track and observe the legendary Big Five-lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and Cape buffalo-in their natural habitat. Your guide will skillfully navigate the reserve, sharing fascinating insights into animal behaviors, tracking techniques, and the delicate balance of this vibrant ecosystem. Midway through the day, pause for an elegant picnic lunch set up in a scenic, shaded spot within the wilderness. Savor gourmet dishes, freshly prepared by Angama Mara's chefs, accompanied by refreshing beverages as you take in the serenity of your surroundings. Depending on the season, you may catch a glimpse of the awe-inspiring Great Migration, as thousands of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains. In the late afternoon, return to Angama Mara, where you can unwind with a sunset cocktail on the lodge's expansive deck. Conclude your day with a refined multi-course dinner, served al fresco under a canopy of stars, as the sounds of the African bush create a magical ambiance.
Following a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge in the Masai Mara, you'll embark on a scenic domestic flight to Amboseli National Park. As your journey unfolds, marvel at the breathtaking aerial views of Kenya's diverse landscapes, from rolling savannahs to distant volcanic peaks. Upon landing, a private guide will meet you for a short yet picturesque drive to Tortilis Camp, your luxurious retreat nestled on the edge of the park. This award-winning eco-lodge is famed for its elegant, thatched tents, indulgent amenities, and unparalleled vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro, which serves as a dramatic backdrop for your stay. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with refreshing drinks and a warm Kenyan welcome before sitting down to a delectable al fresco lunch on the camp's terrace, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. After some time to relax and soak up the serene atmosphere, embark on an unforgettable sunset safari. This exclusive experience takes you through the heart of Amboseli's iconic landscapes, where you'll witness majestic herds of elephants, grazing zebras, and vibrant birdlife, all set against the golden hues of the savannah and the towering presence of Africa's highest peak. As the day winds down, return to Tortilis Camp to enjoy an exquisite multi-course dinner accompanied by fine wine. End your evening stargazing under the vast African sky, a perfect close to your first day in Amboseli.
After a final sumptuous breakfast at Tortilis Camp, indulge in one last gaze at the awe-inspiring Mount Kilimanjaro as it rises majestically against the horizon. The camp's renowned chefs will prepare a selection of fresh pastries, tropical fruits, and made-to-order dishes to ensure your morning begins on a high note. Following breakfast, take a moment to bid farewell to the serene wilderness of Amboseli, where elephants roam freely against the dramatic backdrop of Africa's tallest peak. Your private transfer will then whisk you to the Amboseli airstrip, where you'll board a luxurious bush plane for a scenic 45-minute flight back to Nairobi. During the journey, marvel at the sweeping views of Kenya's ever-changing landscape, from the golden savannahs to lush green hills. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport in Nairobi, your personal chauffeur will be waiting to escort you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). The transfer, which takes approximately 40 minutes, offers a final glimpse of Nairobi's bustling streets and vibrant city life. As your Kenyan adventure comes to an end, take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable experiences: the wildlife encounters, the warm hospitality, and the moments of serenity in nature's embrace. Carry with you the magic of Kenya, a land of unparalleled beauty and wonder.
Practical tips from your guide
- 💡Great Migration timing: river crossings happen July–October in Masai Mara — we position camps for maximum crossing proximity
- 💡Game drives depart at 6 am — the first hour of light produces the best photography and the highest predator activity
- 💡Balloon safari over Masai Mara at dawn: book at least 60 days in advance — limited to 16 passengers per balloon
- 💡Yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for Kenya entry — get vaccinated 10 days before departure
- 💡Carry only neutral colours on safari (khaki, olive, grey) — bright colours disturb the wildlife and are prohibited in some conservancies

Kenya mein lion pride with cubs — 2 ghante ki sighting
Morning safari mein lion pride mili — 2 males, 3 females aur 4 cubs. Guide ne engine off kiya aur do ghante wahan rahe. Cubs ne roar practice ki aur females hunting practice ki. Yeh ek wildlife documentary live mein dekhne jaisi thi. Masai Mara is truly the world's greatest wildlife stage.
Response from Globalduniya · Arjun Bose · Africa Safari Specialist
Pallavi and Kiran, two hours with a lion pride with cubs practising roars and females hunting — that is one of the Masai Mara's most extraordinary encounters. Engine off, patience, and the pride delivered everything. Thank you.

About Kenya
▾
Region: Africa, Kenya.
Best time to visit: June, July, August, September, October.
July to October for the Great Migration wildebeest crossings. January to March (dry season) also excellent — bush is thin, wildlife concentrated at water sources, and Big Five sightings are exceptional.
Questions about this package
The Great Migration wildebeest river crossings (July–October) are one of nature's great spectacles but not a guaranteed daily event — crossings happen 3–7 times per week during peak season. We position our camp within 15 minutes of the main crossing points and brief guests on the morning of travel. We cannot guarantee a crossing; we can guarantee the best possible position to witness one.
Yes. Nairobi National Park (the world's only national park within a capital city) is included as a half-day game drive on the Nairobi arrival or departure day. Lions, giraffe, rhino, zebra, and buffalo are regularly sighted against the Nairobi city skyline — a genuinely unique juxtaposition.
Yes. A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for Kenya entry from all countries. The vaccination should ideally be received 10 days before departure for full immunity. The certificate has lifetime validity (changed from 10-year validity in 2016). We send a vaccination reminder with the booking confirmation.
