Begin your day with a sumptuous breakfast at the renowned Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. Settle into the Riverside Terrace and indulge in an array of classic Thai delicacies, including freshly prepared rice porridge, wok-fried noodles, and an assortment of tropical fruits, all while taking in serene views of the Chao Phraya River. Your private guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to commence a fascinating cultural exploration of Bangkok's heritage. Start with the Grand Palace, an architectural masterpiece that served as the royal residence for centuries. Wander through its opulent halls and visit Wat Phra Kaew, home to the revered Emerald Buddha, a symbol of Thailand's spiritual identity. Next, transfer via private vehicle to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, whose gleaming spires are a testament to Bangkok's artistic legacy. For lunch, savor an exquisite dining experience at the Michelin-starred Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, where traditional Thai flavors are reimagined with modern techniques. In the afternoon, embark on a tranquil long-tail boat ride through the city's klongs, or canals, observing daily life along these waterways and the stilted wooden homes that line them. Return to the Mandarin Oriental for an evening of relaxation. Consider fine dining options such as Le Normandie for French haute cuisine or the China House for contemporary Chinese dishes.

After a sumptuous breakfast at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, savoring freshly baked pastries and artisanal coffee, your private chauffeur transfers you to Suvarnabhumi Airport for a seamless domestic flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), you are greeted by your dedicated guide and whisked away in a luxury vehicle to the serene Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, a hidden jewel surrounded by emerald-green rice terraces and tropical gardens. The 45-minute journey offers glimpses of Northern Thailand's lush landscapes. Upon arrival, enjoy a personalized check-in and a refreshing welcome drink at the resort's airy lobby, followed by some leisure time to settle into your elegantly appointed villa. In the afternoon, embark on a guided excursion to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a revered temple perched atop Doi Suthep mountain. Your expert guide shares insights into its centuries-old history, including the legend of the sacred white elephant that led to its founding. Marvel at the intricate gilded stupa and ornate carvings, and soak in sweeping views of Chiang Mai's skyline below. Return to the resort for an unforgettable culinary experience at Khao by Four Seasons, where you'll indulge in authentic Northern Thai specialties like gaeng hung lay and sai ua, paired with fine wines. Relax in the evening amidst the tranquil ambiance of the resort.

Begin your day with a sumptuous breakfast at the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, where the tranquil views of rice paddies and lush gardens set the tone for an unforgettable day. A private transfer whisks you away to the Chang Chill Elephant Sanctuary, a leading example of ethical tourism in Thailand. Here, you'll witness elephants thriving in their natural environment, engaging in their daily routines free from human interference. Knowledgeable guides share insights into elephant conservation efforts, making your visit both enriching and inspiring. For lunch, savor authentic northern Thai cuisine at Huen Phen, a beloved Chiang Mai institution known for dishes like Khao Soi and Nam Prik Ong, served in a traditional teakwood setting that evokes the charm of the region. Afterward, return to the Four Seasons Resort for an expert-led Thai cooking class. Under the guidance of skilled chefs, master the art of preparing signature dishes such as Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai, using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. As evening falls, enjoy a cocktail at the Ratree Bar and Lounge, before indulging in a refined dinner at Rim Tai Kitchen, where each dish reflects the essence of Thai culinary artistry. After a sumptuous breakfast at the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, you will be escorted by private transfer to Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) for your flight to Phuket. Upon landing at Phuket International Airport (HKT), a dedicated chauffeur will meet you for a seamless 30-minute transfer to Amanpuri, an iconic luxury resort perched on a tranquil private beach along the Andaman Sea. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with refreshing beverages and escorted to your beautifully designed pavilion, blending contemporary elegance with traditional Thai architecture. The afternoon is yours to unwind. Stroll through the resort's verdant gardens, where the fragrant frangipani and swaying palms create a tropical oasis. Pamper yourself with a signature treatment at Amanpuri's renowned Holistic Wellness Centre, where expert therapists tailor each experience to your needs, or simply recline by the infinity pool, gazing at the turquoise waters. As evening falls, indulge in an exquisite dining experience at Amanpuri's Na Phuke Restaurant. Check-in recommended 3 hours before international departure. Farewell from the Land of Smiles. Highlights: - Hotel check-out - Airport transfer - End of tour

Practical tips from your guide

  • 💡Bangkok to Phuket: fly rather than coach (₹2,500 difference) — 80-minute flight vs 14-hour overnight bus
  • 💡Phi Phi Islands: book the speed boat day trip from Phuket, not Krabi — shorter crossing and more time on the island
  • 💡Maya Bay (The Beach) has a daily visitor cap — confirm current access rules as these change seasonally
  • 💡Patong Beach market: best 5–8 pm — the fresh seafood on Tiger Street is outstanding and very cheap
  • 💡Phuket Old Town weekend market (Sat–Sun) is more authentic than Patong Walking Street — local food, art, and music

About Thailand

Region: Southeast Asia, Thailand.

Best time to visit: November, December, January, February, March, April.

November to April is the ideal window for Phuket. May to October is southwest monsoon — Phuket's west coast beaches are rough; Krabi's east coast remains calmer.

Questions about this package

Speedboat, exclusively. Our Phi Phi day trip uses a shared speedboat (25 seats maximum, A/C cabin) from Phuket — 45-minute crossing vs 90 minutes on a slow ferry. This maximises island time. The Phi Phi Islands day includes Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Viking Cave, and Monkey Beach with snorkelling time at 2 locations.

This package starts in Bangkok (2 nights) and flies to Phuket (3 nights) mid-itinerary. Return flight is from Phuket. If you prefer to start in Phuket, the reverse sequence is available on request — but the Bangkok starting point allows more seamless connection from most Indian gateway cities.

Yes. A half-day Phuket Old Town walk is included — Sino-Portuguese shophouse architecture, the weekend market, Rang Hill viewpoint, and a Thai cooking demonstration at a heritage house. This is the cultural antidote to Patong's beach resort energy and a favourite with our guests.
