Oberoi service in India is in a class of its own
We chose the luxury version of the Golden Triangle specifically for the Oberoi properties and they surpassed every expectation. The Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra — where every room looks directly at the Taj Mahal — is simply extraordinary. Waking at dawn to that view from bed is an experience money can provide and we are not embarrassed to say so. The Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur was equally exceptional. The private guide allocated to us for the full eight days, Ashish, was one of the finest we have encountered in twenty years of international travel. His knowledge of Mughal art, architecture and history was encyclopaedic.
Response from Globalduniya · Rohan Verma · India Operations Director
Edward and Victoria, the Amarvilas sunrise Taj view is something we protect carefully — room allocation matters, timing matters, and the Oberoi team manages it beautifully. Ashish has worked with our most discerning guests for nine years and your words will mean a great deal to him.

Returning to India in luxury — we saw it completely differently
As Indians who grew up visiting these cities on family holidays, we wondered whether a luxury guided version would add anything. It added everything. Our guide Dinesh showed us aspects of the Taj Mahal — the inlay work, the calligraphy, the optical illusions built into the architecture — that we had never noticed in ten previous visits. The Oberoi properties elevated the experience beyond comparison. A wonderful and very different way to see our own country's treasures.
Response from Globalduniya · Rohan Verma · India Operations Director
Ananya and Vikram, having guests who know these sites well is always a pleasure for our guides — Dinesh relishes the opportunity to go deeper on the craft and architectural detail with an engaged audience. We are delighted you found a new perspective on places so familiar.

A honeymoon India trip — every detail perfect
India was not the obvious honeymoon destination but we wanted something memorable rather than the standard beach resort, and Globalduniya delivered a genuinely magical ten days. The Rambagh Palace in Jaipur is one of the world's most romantic hotels — a former royal hunting lodge turned Taj property with impeccable gardens and superlative food. The Taj Mahal sunrise visit with just our guide was timed to perfection. Every hotel had been briefed for our honeymoon — flower petals on the bed, a bottle of champagne on arrival, and consistently warm and personal service. Thank you for making it so special.
Response from Globalduniya · Rohan Verma · India Operations Director
Congratulations, Catherine and Michael — and thank you for trusting us with your honeymoon. The Rambagh Palace is one of our favourite hotels in India for precisely the reason you describe: it feels like a private royal home rather than a standard hotel. We hope this is the first of many India journeys together.

Private guide, private vehicle, no compromises — worth every penny
We have done India twice before with group tours. This was our first private luxury itinerary and the difference is absolute. A private guide who learns your preferences on day one and adapts each subsequent day accordingly; a vehicle that waits exactly where you need it; restaurants pre-booked at the right time. The Leela Palace in New Delhi and the Oberoi Amarvilas were both at the top of their category. The photography opportunities at golden hour at the Qutb Minar, the Taj at both sunrise and sunset, and the Amber Fort ramparts were handled expertly — our guide positioned us at exactly the right moment.
Response from Globalduniya · Rohan Verma · India Operations Director
James and Philippa, the comparison between group and private travel in India is one we hear consistently — the ability to adapt in real time to a couple's pace, interests and energy is only possible with a dedicated guide. Thank you for experiencing the difference with us.

Faultless luxury travel in India — harder to execute than it sounds
India is a country that rewards proper preparation and the right local partner. Globalduniya handled every element of this luxury itinerary without a single misstep. Pre-arrival briefings covered dietary preferences, room preferences and interests in detail. The hotels — Leela Palace Delhi, Oberoi Amarvilas Agra, Rambagh Palace Jaipur — all delivered exceptional stays. The Taj at sunrise with our guide, who had secured us the ideal position before the crowds arrived, was everything I had hoped for. The private vehicle throughout made the journey comfortable and efficient. Highly recommend Globalduniya for luxury India.
Response from Globalduniya · Rohan Verma · India Operations Director
Susannah, thank you — the phrase "harder to execute than it sounds" captures the reality of luxury ground operations in India very well. The coordination between hotels, guides, drivers and restaurants requires constant attention to detail, and we are glad it came together seamlessly for you.

A luxury cultural adventure
This was my first visit to India, and it couldn’t have been better. Delhi’s Red Fort and Humayun's Tomb were steeped in history—our guide brought these places to life. Agra was just magical, especially the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Ranthambore was exhilarating, and seeing a tiger was the cherry on top. The Leela Palace in Jaipur was pure bliss. Highly recommend this package for a no-compromise experience.
Response from Globalduniya · Rohan Verma · India Operations Director
Dear Mr. Connor, thank you for your glowing review. We’re thrilled you had such an enriching first visit to India and loved the Leela Palace. We’d love to host you again to create more unforgettable memories.
