The itinerary reaches 5,360 m at Pangong Lake (via Chang La pass, the third-highest motorable pass in the world). Khardung La (5,359 m), often cited as the world's highest motorable pass, is included if your itinerary covers the Nubra Valley route. Mandatory acclimatisation at Leh (3,524 m) for 48 hours is built into the schedule before any high-pass excursion.

Indian nationals require no permit for the main Leh circuit. Pangong Lake, Nubra Valley, and Dah-Hanu require an Inner Line Permit (ILP) — obtainable online or at Leh DC Office in 1–2 hours. Foreign nationals require an ILP for Pangong and Nubra, and a Protected Area Permit (PAP) for some outer zones. We arrange all permits before your excursion days.

A Ladakh motorcycle extension (Royal Enfield, 5–7 days from Manali to Leh via Rohtang and Tanglang La) is available as an alternative to the standard itinerary for experienced riders.
