Questions about this package
Québec City's Old Town is predominantly French-speaking, but tourist-facing businesses universally accommodate English. Our guides are bilingual (French/English) and all hotel and restaurant staff we work with are English-fluent. A 'merci' and 'bonjour' go a long way — we brief all guests before arrival.
Yes. The Hornblower Niagara boat cruise (or its Journey Behind the Falls alternative) is included for all guests. Reusable ponchos are provided onboard — the spray is real and spectacular. The visit is timed for late afternoon when the falls are frontally lit.
Peak fall colour in the Montréal–Québec City corridor runs the last week of September to the second week of October. The Laurentian Mountains north of Montréal turn crimson and gold. We have dedicated autumn departures timed to peak colour — ask us for the exact departure dates.
