Indian citizens do not require a permit for the main Andaman Islands (Port Blair, Havelock, Neil). Foreign nationals require a free Restricted Area Permit (RAP) which is issued on arrival at Port Blair Airport. We brief all international guests on the RAP process before departure.

Yes. Andaman waters have year-round visibility of 10–25 metres and no dangerous marine wildlife under normal conditions. All water activities are operated by National Institute of Water Sports-certified operators. We do not use uncertified vendors regardless of price. Beginners are fully briefed before entering the water.

Port Blair to Havelock: 90-minute premium ferry (Makruzz or Green Ocean) — faster and more comfortable than the 2.5-hour government ferry. Havelock to Neil Island: 30-minute ferry. All ferry tickets are pre-booked and included. We always book seat-class rather than deck-class for the crossing.

We recommend booking at least 3–4 months in advance for peak season travel (October–March). For off-peak travel, 6–8 weeks is generally sufficient. Bespoke itineraries need a minimum 8 weeks for full confirmation.
