Himachal Grand Tour mein 4 cities — kaafi kuch dekha

Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala aur Dalhousie — charon jagah ek hi trip mein! Har jagah alag. Dharamshala mein McLeod Ganj ka Tibetan culture alag hi tha, Dalhousie ki colonial feel bhi unique thi. Guide ne sab transitions smooth banaye. Overall bahut informative aur enjoyable trip rahi.

Response from Globalduniya · Priya Nair · Regional Operations Manager

Khajjiar — India's little Switzerland delivered the promise

We had heard Khajjiar called India's little Switzerland and were prepared to be disappointed. The meadow, the lake, the deodar forest rising behind it — the description is actually accurate. A lunch picnic arranged by our guide in the meadow was a perfect midday pause. Himachal Grand Tour delivered on every promise.

Response from Globalduniya · Vikram Gupta · Domestic Tour Director

Khajjiar regularly over-delivers on the Swiss comparison — the deodar forest behind the meadow lake is genuinely remarkable. A meadow picnic lunch at that setting is one of our team's favourite little arrangements. Thank you, Eleanor and James.

About India

Region: Himachal Pradesh, India.

Best time to visit: April, May, June, September, October.

June to September for the full Spiti Valley experience. Roads at 4,500m can be blocked by snow or landslides at any time — build 1–2 flexible days into your schedule.

Questions about this package

Yes, for reasonably fit travellers. Kaza (3,800m) requires 1 day of acclimatisation on arrival — we build this into the itinerary. Most temples and villages are accessible by road. The valley trek (Pin Parvati Pass) is a specialist route we offer separately. The main circuit requires no trekking experience.

Snow leopard sightings in Spiti's Pin Valley are possible year-round but peak in winter (December–March) when prey moves lower. Summer (June–September) offers occasional sightings near the snow line above 4,500m. We offer a dedicated 4-day Snow Leopard Winter Extension from Kaza with specialist naturalist guides.

Seven major monasteries are on the standard itinerary: Key, Tabo, Dhankar, Kibber, Komic (highest inhabited village in the world, 4,587m), Pin Valley gompa, and Mudh village monastery. Our guide explains Buddhist iconography and ritual practice at each site — this is a living religious tradition, not just architecture.

Frequently asked questions

We recommend booking at least 3–4 months in advance for peak season travel (October–March). For off-peak travel, 6–8 weeks is generally sufficient. Bespoke itineraries need a minimum 8 weeks for full confirmation.
